    Default Engine and Gearbox weight?

Was curious to see if anybody knows - what is the weight of the engine and gearbox of the Pro FM?

I think I've found docs saying the gearbox is in the 100# range, was curious what the fully dressed motor weighs?

    Hi Mike,

    Thank you for the reply

To be clear, is that engine only, or engine and gearbox?

    e.g. engine + gearbox = ~380-400#?

    or

    engine + gearbox = ~300lbs?

And a related question, are most PFM's at or near their ~1320 min weight with a medium size driver? (e.g. the car is around 1100-1150# ready to race but without a driver)

Engine only. Not sure about hewland FTR weight with oil tank gearbox/engine adapter.

My car once weighed 1400lbs with my 178lb self and 11 gallons (66lbs) of fuel.

Could be made lighter with with carbon fiber side pod and engine covers. I had CF diffuser and shock cover.
