Great car! I miss my Brabham...

Seems like a very reasonable price with the FC MAE (two) and B Twincam engines and two Hewlands. Very rare opportunity to have both configurations. I hope it stays in sunny California or at least in the US.

    Good luck with the sale,
    Bob

    Default Brake question

I have a question about your brakes. I am just starting to restore Brabham BT21C-10 (AM287). I believe I have the original brakes in a box. They are AP-Lockeed CP2094-16/17 calipers which I think go on the front and Girling D12 calipers for the rear. Most of the BT21's I have seen seem to have Girling AR2's. I am curious as to what you have. They seem to be Girlings but not AR2's.

I don't have my car here to check but notes in my binders show Girling D12R in the rears. I think Girling in the front too.
The original notes from Brabham that came with the car say this: "Formula 2 have Lockheed brakes. Formula 3 use Girling".

    Hi,
What is the history of this Brabham?
Does the Brabham have history in period with both engines?
    Regards Daniel

They look like Girling D14R up front to me.

Sounds wonderful. I am in southern Oregon. If I sell my 1958 Fender Mary Kaye Stratocaster, I may come knocking. It is for sale, and there is some interest. But vintage guitars, as with vintage race cars, is a quirky market.

Beautiful car, great motors, good price.

Might help to list history if known, regardless, Good Luck with the sale!
