What car can I drive in Iracing and shift with h pattern but not use the clutch similiar to my FF . I raced for the first time with my buddies last night and was stuck racing miatas ..... found myself struggling right foot braking in places since trying so hard to learn left foot braking. Or should I be playing somewhere else.... please help

Skippy car is paddle shift only.
Try SRF for H-pattern and set it to clutchless shift under settings (below where you calibrate the wheel and pedals
It's a little slower than FF and reacts like a boat but you will get used to it and your times will be close if you don't use 5th.

The SRF which has a clutch and gated shifter, that's what I use if I want to run laps and work on shift technique. Otherwise I usually run the skippy.

You don't have to, it'll shift with a light lift.

Just did a practice race with the skippy and noticed some issues with downshifts, occasionally it doesn't want to. Never had it happen if I used the clutch so I'm not sure on that one, don't need it for upshifts.

Gave up on Iracing ... downloaded rfactor2 and driving f2000 2016 car so I can shift normally. Not perfect but seems better than iracing for openwheel. I do not know if I can find Summit point yet but found a midohio track and VIR. I am not the best with computers but figuring it out.

Run with us with the Tatuus USF2000. We will be running Summit in a week or two on the server. Laguna is next Tuesday.
