Coronavirus Cancellations and Rescheduling

Perhaps ApexSpeed should have a dedicated Debate - Arguments Thread ???

It could be a good revenue stream since we all seem to enjoy doing it ???

That's what every single thread on here that's not a "For Sale" thread is. . . and even some of those get into "is the car a good buy or not?" debate. Honda v. Ford, Zetec v. Pinto, 4stroke v. 2Stroke, every rules thread, every cost savings thread. Even people asking for technical advice will have folks debating 10 different ways to skin the cat, it's what chat forums are about. Some folks just don't like hearing opinions that aren't their own. Personally, I enjoy well-thought out, logical arguments counter to my own, those which cause me to think about my own positions.

This thread doesn't need to become political. The debate essentially boils down to "are we doing enough or too much", "who's going to save us", "do we need saving from ourselves"? Why save this guy, but not that one?

Why not just start a "Coronavirus" thread in Coffee & Doughnuts?

Folks can discuss/argue to their hearts' content. People can read/join in as they please.

Limit all other threads (including this one) to the racing topic at hand.

Fair enough. I assume you would prefer zero debate about which events should/shouldn't be cancelled. Who should get refunds, who shouldn't, etc.


Maybe a mod could delete all the superfluous chatter and keep it only informative about which events are cancelled and rescheduled?

Note, I'm not intending to start debate what the thread should/shouldn't be about.

Qualification will be determined by the driver's time in the 40, bench press weight and Wunderlic scores.

(Note: Wunderlic score threshold is of course lower for F500 drivers)
