2 Swift DB2 for sale

We have two Swift DB2 for sale because we are getting out of racing.
Both cars are a little dusty because they have been in storage for a few months, but they are ready to go on track.

.........These cars are Way WAY WAY more fun on the race track than a Porsche or Ferrari, at 1/3 the price. If you drive this at the track, you will never want to take another street car to the track. These are purpose build race cars that are VERY safe and very predictable.....no 'On The Edge' handling here.....lots of grip and LOTS of fun.

1986 Swift DB2 Blue & yellow $33,500

• This car was completely rebuilt to a high standard about 3 years ago, and has only done 5 events since then.
• The chassis was thoroughly inspected with many panels replaced, including a 0.090" Chrome Molly steel box section that supports the front rockers and steering rack; a new 0.125" floor; 0.090" panel around the front roll hoop/shock support tower; and 0.090" rear firewall. All this was attached with aircraft quality glue and rivets.and/or bolts, so the chassis is a lot stiffer and crack free than a stock chassis. There is also a machined billet front bulkhead/pedal box.
• The car has an AIM data system
• The fuel tank was inspected and certified by Aero Tec.
• The shocks were stripped and rebuilt.
• The Motor was built by Quick Silver, and has about 10 hours on it, so it has a lot of time left to go.

* This car has a IVEY ENGINES motor with 6 events, so about 12 hours on it and at that last rebuild, many new parts were installed, including a new crankshaft. We have a full invoice from that rebuild, along with a dyno sheet..
* Ivey says that his motors will go 1.5 to 2 seasons, so there is a lot of time left on this engine. The gearbox was totally rebuilt about 4 races ago with the older but much stronger style VW housing, and it has an aluminum differential that allows the motor to spool up quicker.

* This car also had the problematic box section that supports the front rockers and steering rack, replaced.

* The car has the larger and more powerful Alcon 4-piston radial mount brake calipers and rotors all round.

* There is an AIM data system

The car owner just asked that I reduce the cost of each car by $3000 !!!
So the blue and yellow car is now $30,500 and the flag car is $27,500

I have communicated via email and confirmed that both cars have been sold. He says a friend has 2 more that he may be posting for sale so check back. He may also start a totally new post which is what I think he should do so there will be no confusion.
