    Default Big boy chassis

I’m looking at Formula F and was wondering what chassis will fit a driver that is 5’9” 240#?

Modern car with the most room is the Piper DL chassis.
    Club ford, Zink Z10
Vintage FF - Winkleman or Titan
Others you want to try on for size. Best thing you can do is shed the pounds so you can be at or near minimum weight.

Just noticed you are from Corning.
A group of racers from Canada, Buffalo, Rochester and the Finger Lakes get together once a month in Rochester for dinner.
You are definately welcome to join us!
We also race in the VRG Series and run at the Glen in October.

I am 6'1" 240lbs and run a Crossle 32, another one of us is 6' and 220 and runs a Crossle 30 so that is another avenue to follow.

    Looking forward to meeting, Robby

Agree on Club Ford for larger drivers.

Also consider the Van Diemen RF78/79/80/81 series cars. Very good parts availability. Quite roomy. When I moved from an RF80 to a DB-1, I had to do some slimming.

No affiliation with the car, just a fan of it. Very fast, very easy to drive and maintain. and a good price!

Note it is FF not CF so not as competitive when aero enters the equation

If you want a modern car, Piper DL7 is the answer. Excellent car, with a roomy cockpit.

Citations are roomy. Swifts are not.
