The LeGrand is in Western Massachusetts, about 50 minutes from Lime Rock.

I think just the velocity stacks are Shankle. I think the intake has to be stock Ford, does it not?

Yes. You could use the battery in the LeGrand during the summer, and you snow blower in the winter.

    Default what... ?

... has happened to the FFord market that running/driving cars are now only worth only 4 figures ?

... and truly fabulous cars are asking 15-18k?

    did I miss a memo?

I've seen really nice cars go for around 13 or even less.

What gearsets are compatible with a Mk 4 Hewland? Are Mk 8/9 compatible?

    Frank,
Gearsets listed online say they are for Mk 4, 6, 8 and 9 so it's likely they are the same, assuming the correct size shaft. Lee Williams (WRD) probably could go into great detail about possibilities.

    Default Supply and demand?

I’ve been wondering if demand and thus prices would fall a bit as all the FF 50th stuff winds down. It seems “supply” MAY have increased as folks brought stuff out (unmothballed, restored, etc) for the 50th races. Just a very causal thought as I’m not involved at all (but would love to pick up a nice CF). .

If this would have been here a year ago, I would have bought it! It certainly is a better deal than what I got (although I'm pretty happy with my March FF).

This car appears to be a great deal but as far as the price coming down on vintage, I don’t think so. There are a number of cars in the mid 20-30 range. Just my opinion.

For sale in that range or sold in that range? Genuine question.

Despite a strong effort, the original buyer was unable to assemble the funds required to purchase the LeGrand and ship it to the U.K. So the LeGrand is available.

Sadly when you look at the demographics of FF, it doesn't play in favor of the car values.

There are very few spring chickens left in the sport.
