    Congrats to Tim Minor!
    I'm a big fan. Obviously.
I watched him dominate in F2000 Championship Series.
Thought that Topeka was his to win... then the grid fiasco.
Then at Daytona the engine seemed weak.
I think he will appreciate that it was at VIR, a classic track, one of the great tracks in the USA.
It is super important to Tim that Reedy was there as crew. They have been a team for so long.
Reedy was texting me from the podium. He was jazzed.
Tim is a great example of a "club racer". He does it all in his shop behind his home.
Coming back with a complete rebuild after the testing crash at Summit. He just kept plugging on.
I also remember that in the pro series the drivers picked Tim to be their representative.
He was the "voice" of the racers. A lot of us racers will be toasting him tonight.
He is a racer at heart... clear back to FV days.
Congrats to adding his name to a list of other great FC Champions!

As Rand would say, "Major Tim wins another race!"

Great to see Tim finally get the runoffs. He is a true racer and this win is overdue.

Robert Allaer and LTD super speed as well. Good to see.

LTD = "Living the Dream" a great team! Goes back to Rob St.Clair.

Tonight I'm wondering... Just how many championships has a Steve Lathrop chassis won?

I think Tim was still in "race mode" when he raised the trophy. :)

Looked like he lost an engine; smoke out the tail pipe at the end of the back straight. Announcer said he had installed a new engine before the race. I know Varacins swapped out engines due to a low oil pressure issue; not sure if that was accurate about LTD.

Man that sucks. Knowing Dave and the heart and soul effort it's got to be pretty heartbreaking. Glad I'm not towing it home knowing they were that close. He was gone.

    Default Congrats Tim!

Tim Minor is the class of the class! I am so happy he finally got this win. I know he has always wanted to add this trophy to his already impressive collection.

TIm is a "go to" guy when you are having issues or questions. He has helped me a bunch of times. He fought for us (me) at Daytona a couple years ago when things just weren't right with the race. He is an inspiration to everyone out there that has a FC. He works tirelessly on that machine, dedicates the time necessary to succeed, and then executes it on the track.

I'm very happy I was able to be present to see you stand up on that top spot Tim! You deserve it champ!

    Default Also...

Forgot to also congratulate Joe Colasacco and Glenn Cordova for the podium finishes! I know there was quite a battle for those spots as well, and I heard it got a little hairy for you guys too! Great job guys! Well deserved...
