Yes, yes we did. Had we run on Tuesday/Wednesday, we would have needed a prop and a rudder.

    Exactly!

For the 2019 Solo Nationals, CM/CML is running Tue/Wed (as per the normal year to year Tue-Wed / Thu-Fri rotation).

Earlier this year, it was announced that, for 2019, CM/CML *could* be one of those classes that would skip the normal rotation and run Thu-Fri again to help balance out competitor distribution (i.e. ~650 Tue-Wed / ~650 Thu-Fri). Final 2019 Solo National run days were announce on Mon, May 20 and CM/CML is listed as Tue-Wed.

That's better than running KM where we would have needed periscope, snorkle, more appropriately scuba gear. The middle River was higher than side pods and tops of the tires.

Well we still may need scuba gear you just never know.

But I'm buying extra WD-40 to ward off mother nature.

    Default Paddock spots

For those in a group, please share your spot number.

Maybe us, non-groupers, can try to get close?
Or do we pick a row to be together?

    :::
The 2019 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals Paddock assignments app will be open on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at 12:00 pm Central (Noon) to those not already in a group or chief’s spot. The link can be found here: https://solonatsparking.motorsportreg.com

Last year I had ton's of room next to me, maybe this year I'll put my Elbows out and make room for some one. That would be cool to share stories this year instead of over thinking everything. LOL

Row 8, spots 27 A and B for me and Mr. Flesher. I'd say to drop by, but I'm rarely at my trailer unless something is broken!

BTW: The Paddock app has a decent search engine. Click on the "People" button (helmet icon) and then type "CM"...

Bad news. John has discovered additional issues with the Reynard due to previous owners lack of maintenance. While the car could possibly be back together for Nats, we have no local events to test the car and make sure it works as it should. Therefore, John will be switching to STU is his Subaru. Hopefully, we can make a couple of local events after Nats and be ready for 2020.

I've lost 35 lbs. with 80 to go. Maybe, I'll be ready for 2020 with the SoloVee. Somebody has to be DFL and might as well be me.

    Lynn,

Bummer on the Reynard, but congrats on the weight loss; hopefully we'll see both you and John on the 2020 entry list.

    Take care,

Well, Corey and I learned that our row 8 spots were not supposed to be available for selection. We were moved to row 34. What a mess. If there are 2 spots closer, please let us know.

Update Brian Harmer is checking for us.

Sounds like Brian is going to go above and beyond and get us some prime parking due to the MSR error. Nice!

Sad we're down to 17 from previous years, but happy to see the gang in a week and have some fun on that grippy concrete!

When I was shopping for my CM car, I was puzzled at how few videos exist of them. Now that I own one, I realize that frame vibrations make for crappy videos! Let's share up any videos you have!

I found CM 2019 winner, Anthony Porta's videos:
    East: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6Qa7Q113Ads
    West: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A7aUejPOgoI

Here's his analysis of his West run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCUay-GrROY
    Neat, if not humbling!

If that's too fast for you, here's mine. Speed in km/hr because I'm Canadian, sorry.

I enjoyed Porta's runs. Lots of rubber flying off his front tires.....all his or opr?

Yours looked pretty good to me too Cory!
