Maybe check with Dave Bean?
Call Keith Averill
The last few ATE rebuild kits I bought (from some west coast buggy shop) were so old the o-rings had turned to dust. I finally gave up and started using square section metric o-rings from McMaster Carr. Check their website, for your dimensions. Only available in Buna-N so not optimal for long life, not a problem if you rebuild seasonally.
maybe just search for them on the 'net. look at suppliers like Zatkoff.
Thanks all, was able to get some from back east and a couple of kits from the UK
I found EPDM o-rings to fit ATE's at www.theoringstore.com. ordered AS568A 223 for nominal 1.625 id x .125cs. they are round, which their website said can be used in place of square, and they fit/working great.
by the way, what brake pads are you using in these calipers?
@Fleetdude, Round section orings/seals for a brake caliper is not a good idea, they will "seal" but they will not provide the "return" that a square/rectangular seal would, and, the sealing area is much smaller.
