Default 1988 Reynard FC Engine Mount

This is a longshot. The '88 Reynard FC employs a bonded rubber bushing mount in the engine's attached tripod nose frame where the nose frame bolts to the chassis.

I've searched an ex-vendor's Reynard parts manual and it appears as part "87-16-20 Engine Mounting Bushing". Unfortunately, IRP is no longer in business to supply the part.

I've googled bonded rubber bushing manufacturers to find one that may manufacture a replacement of identical dimension. However. no success matching the bushing's dimension.

I recognize the audience with knowledge of this part is small. That said and with fingers crossed, does anyone on this forum have an idea as to where this bushing may be sourced? I am actually able to make out enough of the part number on the bushing to take a guess that it is 12076.

    Thanks Rick -

Anyone know who acquired Taylor Engineering's parts inventory?

Keith Averill - Racing Stuff may have it or know where you can get it. Other source is Neil Porter, porterracing.com. They are used on Crossle FF motor mounts and trans mounts.

Taylor's out of business? I missed that somehow. I knew that a couple of folks moved on but the website is still up.

I've ordered the part from Taylor Race Engineering. While they don't have it in stock, they have a source. Thanks for everyone's guidance.

Courtney, at Taylor, apprised me that they have moved the physical location from Plano to Austin and are no longer in the transmission build business. However, Taylor Race Engineering remains in the parts business. Their preferred build referral resource is Scotty, who is in the Metroplex.

I encouraged Courtney to make an announcement on ApexSpeed to clarify Taylor's business status in light of their changing scope and public misinformation.

Please keep us informed how the acquisition goes. I'm sure others will need the bushings in the future.

IIRC the replacement was a Triumph control arm bushing had to replace one in my 90 Reynard and went down to the local BAP Geon and found the correct size.
