Haven't been able to watch any of this weekends feeds, live or in replay.
I got rid of cable so I can't watch live but have been watching replays all season. I went to the "activate" page on the website and now I get the same "Media not allowed" message.

It's working for me. Try removing the ESPN app, reinstalling and reauthorizing. I seem to remember having to do that last year when I had similar issues...
Dave, do you have ESPN on your cable service? I don't and removing and reinstalling didn't work either. It had been working for every other race this season so I'm not sure what has happened although my theory is that someone figured they would get more revenue if they did this.Originally Posted by Dave Petzko

F1 TV - great alternative
I subscribed to F1 TV this year to try it since we haven't had cable in a long time. I watch everything on replay due to my schedule and it has been great other than 1 weekend when they had technical trouble. I can watch it on an iPad through the app or I can watch it on my TV by logging in through safari either on an iPad or iPhone and then sending it to our Apple TV. No commercials is the best part. It's also cool to watch practice from the in car camera of your choice and listen to the communications between the drivers and engineers.

We watched it live on the ESPN Roku app, but we weren't able to watch qualifying yesterday in replay. Looks like it might be dependent on which ESPN channel it's on. My guess is that it has something to do with the Disney/ESPN+ subscriptions that will be coming up later this fall (Disney money grab).
