Absolutely terrible news.
We saw a video on the North American Eagle lsr effort, including Jessi, not long ago. It wasn't a high-dollar production but a great show about real-deal racers. A week or so after we did, I learned that the car's driver and builder Ed Shadle had died, and Jessi instantly went from backup to primary driver.

Driver deaths are always hard, partly as some were our friends and one never forgets. This one hits a different vein as we're friends and supporters of another young lady driver, and this tragedy makes me shudder to the core.
RIP Jessi, and with heartfelt condolences to all who knew you. So sorry.
Simply awful news.
Very sad news. She was one of the few car show hosts that seemed to know what she was doing with mad skills to boot. She was way more than just a pretty face.
