I remember seeing an in car tire grip display on the forum. It had an LED display that dynamically showed the grip of the tires.

I can't find the thread for the display. Does anyone know who makes it or what it's called?

Thanks Alan - I think that's it. I still can't find the original video I saw last year. It was posted in a thread on Apexspeed somewhere...
