    Default Runoffs Eligibility

What happens if we don't make the required number of 288 entries before next year? Can we still be a Runoffs Eligible class at Road America?

Based on my rough calculations we will be 31 total entries short of making the 288 before the last majors event. Will the Runoffs at VIR count toward entries for next year.

Runoffs entries are counted. See GCR 3.7.4.C. for the full (very full) verbiage.

Could be, just no guarantee. They have the power, but not the obligation, to exclude any class that fails to make the number.
