    Default Ride Height Suggestion

I am looking for a suggested ride height on a F-2000 Mygale, running on Bias-ply Tires.

Sort of track and spring dependent...

We used to set up Carnut169's at about 3/4" at the front skid for Road Atlanta, CMP, Roebling Road. Rake varied between 5/8" and flat.
Sebring ... we had to raise it.
You folks have frost heaves... may have to run higher.

I don't have any info for you on the Mygale, but I always assumed one needed to know the spring rates being used to pre-determine a ride height. And then that info would only be useful if everything else was identical.
If I have a car without a known set-up sheet, I usually go with 'lower is better' and a 1/2" rake, and lower the car until is starts to kiss the track at the largest spring compression points. And then, if not using a replaceable belly pan or rub blocks (teflon/jabrock), raise it a smidge.

Call Ben Beasley. Sam drove one of the faster (Mygale) F2000s we've seen in recent years.

~1" front height and 1/2" rake IMO is a good starting point. troyt has it right.

Have to check notes but 2004Mygale

    Front 400lb -Rear 600lb
    32-34mm front 38-42mm rear

Car is not overly rake sensitive.

Next question would be which year Mygale

As the 99 is it's own beast the 2000/01 cars are similar to the 99 then the 2003-2005 cars are it's own group then the 06/07 cars are close to the 03-05 group but different in the front. The 11/12 Beasely cars are there own thing.

I'll check for the chassis year and use your information as a starting point.
At which points did you measure the ride height ?
    Thank you.

    Default Mygale Set-up

    Hi Keith,

I just emailed you the set-up notes that I got from John D'Addario when they ran a Mygale, plus the manual for the 2004 cars (sent to the GLC address as that's all I had for you). I haven't run on bias ply tires enough to provide any meaningful data with that tire.

Which car have you got in your shop?

    Have a great day,
    Francis K.
