    Default storing car for winter

Any ideas on how to store a Toyota 4age motor during the off season, mainly concerned about the fuel injection so it doesn't varnish
    Thanks,
    Happy 4th

High octane race fuels are considerably more stable than pump gas, Sunoco state stable for up to 2 years in testing. I do nothing to my car for winter storage and have never had an issue, but I guess it depends where you are how long winter is!

That said, with 1,000 miles between rebuilds I usually try to arrange my season to time out at the end of season for an over winter rebuild.

If you are concerned with the fuel going stale in the fuel rail/ injectors and are opposed to running the engine during the winter, You could try the following: Run the elec fuel pump which will cycle fresh fuel through returning to tank via the press reg. Most efi systems will cut the fuel pump after a few seconds not sensing firing of the ign coils etc. simply run a jump lead to the positive side of the pump or wire in a momentary switch. I also use OMC marine fogging oil down the bores of our engines during lay up.
