Private Messages

I replied to a PM this morning.
It appeared in my Inbox, not in my Sent Items.
Is this normal? Have I sent it or not?

Same for me... Drives me crazy... sent never shows up right after I send.

I seem to recall that the 'sent' part of a PM doesn't show up until the recipient opens it. No promises, but likely to be true.

I also learned that if your private message box is full, your sent messages will not be sent and the system will not give you an error message telling you they were not sent. I was sendig people private messages for a month before I learned they never got them.

I recently got a message from the site that my private message box was full and I could not receive any more. Nothing about sending, though.

I found that if I don't clear "Cache" in chrome before sending a PM it goes, but will not show up in my sent folder. If you have Chrome, this may fix the issue.

BTW, thanks to Kim Carter for the tip on this.
