Apologies for radio silence. I am new to racing cars but not race tracks. Did motorcycle track days for many years then moved on to cars. I was doing HPDE in a corvette for a couple years but wanted something more purpose built. This is my first open wheel car so I’m not 100% sure what to expect. I bought Dan Smiths car and immediately took it to Scott Rettich’s shop to make sure everything was in order. Picking the car up tomorrow. Still needs a few tweaks to make it perfect for me.

I don’t know if I’ll race this year. I’ve done the mid Ohio racing school and I think I will apply for my entry level SCCA license. Just getting started in the class.

Hey Adam! Good to hear from you again. Your prior track experience will be really helpful as you begin wheel to wheel racing. I'm racing a different class but have 25+ years of experience in SCCA road racing. Let me know if I can answer questions or give you a hand. We're both around Cincy so that's easily done.
