    I've seen, in other forums when you post a message that your photo shows up
    in the section that has your name displayed to the left, ..

    how do you set this up here???

    Hey Curtis,

    With the new and current version of this software, we can set up individual users with what are called Avatars or buddy icons. We can set up a list of icons for people to choose from (which is what me might do), or we might open it up to the individual. Once things start to get rolling here, we will make an effort to create icons for everyone to use.

    Won't that buddy icon make load times considerably slower.

    I have found them to be troublesome from time to time and harder for moderators to watch over.

    Any thoughts?

    Keeping the size to a reasonable one helps on this. I agree, too large and the sites take too long to load. And this is on a cable...
