That is sad news, I had been keeping up with sending emails on my endeavors and no responses for a while, but guessed Bob might still enjoy the reading.

As a fellow expat Brit we became friends when he purchased the Reynard 90H from me. He was indeed a master mechanic and I enjoyed following the upgrades he fabricated and generally he made the car look so much better. I know he was really enjoying getting to grips with the car when the cancer hit and although we didn't have a long friendship, it was obvious he had all the traits of being a true gentleman, racer at heart and able fabricator.

    Race in peace Bob.

    A100,

Sorry to hear of your friends' passing.

What do you know about the history of the car? Any idea where it was in 2004-2006? There were a couple guys that you might want to contact that were pretty active in SoCal trying to accumulate all the WSR's they could at that time.

I will shoot you a PM with their info, they may be of some help.

Bob still had it in his garage when he sent me photos of the Reynard early 2016, do you know when he sold it?

Default I own the Flying Tiger WSR

My name is Bill Pierce. I bought the car earlier this year and it took me to the WSR class win in VARA. I spoke with Bob, who was MUCH faster at Willow than I am in the car, several times on the phone, but never had the privilege of meeting him face to face. It is truly an amazing car with his touches all over it. It attracts lots of attention at the track, and at the last race several people stopped by to reminisce about Bob Bishop. Rest in peace.
