    What a great place.
    My wife loves going there.
    Great dining.
    Great cruises on the lake.
You are standing around looking at the scenery and thinking, "wow, is this really a race track!"
Then you naysayers say, "so what Frog, who cares about that foofoo?"
But... I say, what a great track to drive. First time you go up through the esses you say "whoa this is something".
Then you fly though the boot. OMG this is the real deal.

I'm a fan of Road Atlanta, but you need to experience WGI. Trust me.

VIR is also a real race track. It has grass on each side of the pavement, not a 100" of safe runoff asphalt. (boo COTA) It's for real. Especially when you get to the last left turn of the climbing esses. Yeehaw! Then you'll be going down into hogpen saying to yourself, "this is the real deal." Yes Virginia, VIR is the real deal.

We are talking about real road courses, not those play places deemed by insurance executives to be safe.

OK, done with my rant. Now back to my regularly scheduled debate with the Captain.

OBTW, you still need to do T1 at Road Atlanta flat. Just saying.
I didn't realize we were having a debate. I've raced at WGI many times and stayed in older motels that weren't too expensive.I can certainly recommend WGI as a place to race at..

I would really like to see the Runoffs at VIR, I think it would be a great location for Northern racers and Southern racers, also I currently live near there .... Either VIR or WG I think I could talk my brother into making an effort to race especially if there is a greater turnout in FC like there was this year.

For what purpose is this poll being taken?
    On whose behalf?

We are always told, by SCCA leadership, when Apexspeed polls overwhelmingly favor a stance opposed by SCCA leadership, that Apexspeed polls do not accurately reflect SCCA membership views.

Has there been a change of policy?

I hoped it would be a fun poll, which I decided to do solely because of my own curiosity.

I don't deal with matters of policy as a member of an advisory committee.

The SCCA leadership has been wrong before.
