I just read that Bill Bradley recently passed away. Bill was an F5/F6 racer from Virginia who competed in the MARRS series. He was a heck of a competitor in his unmistakable Red/White/Blue Stars & Stripes Raptor. More than that, he was just a really good guy. My thoughts go out to his wife, Kaye, and the rest of his family. RIP Bill.

Bill was a 1969 graduate of Radford High School and was the owner of Valley Biomedical Services for over 30 years. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Community Church where he enjoyed being a part of the production team and played guitar. Bill had been ordained as a Baptist Deacon and was an avid race car driver with Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) for many years. He obtained a first degree black belt in Shao Lin Karate and enjoyed spoiling the many cats that visited his home over the years.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Kaye M. Bradley; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Jack Burn; nieces and nephews, Sarah & husband, Jesse Skaggs, Jenny & husband, Evan Sommerfeld, Angela and husband, Brian Booth, Baron Moseley, Matthew & wife, Alicia McGeorge; several great nieces and great nephews and his beloved cat, Blackie.

A celebration of life will be held 4:00 PM at Oakey’s North Chapel on Thursday, August 31, 2017 with Rev. Ken Nienke officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bill’s memory to Fellowship Community Church 1226 Red Lane Extension Salem, VA 24153 or the American Cancer Society 2840 Electric Rd # 106, Roanoke, VA 24018. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Oakey’s North Chapel (540-362-1237). Online condolences can be made at www.oakeys.com.
