Default GSX-R1000 ECU Hacked on Hackaday.com

This guy has figured out how to read the GSX-R1000 ECU parameters and display them on a custom-designed dash display, and on his Android phone. Now that someone has shown it's possible, heh, heh... Any ideas for a product like this?

We have many customers using the AiM k-line interface for Evo4 and MXL2 / MXS to the GSXR-1000 and Hayabusa ECUs. Here is documentation describing how it's connected and what channels you can receive:

    Default K-Line Signal dropout

I believe I was one of the first to report this issue to AIM. After trying several iterations of pull up resistors to get the AIM EVO4 to consistently read the K-Line Suzuki protocol I finally gave up. I even sent my logger back to AIM per the Italian engineers suggestion for a board update but it still drops out the signal.

Has this issue been resolved for the MXL2? I am having the same K-line dropout problem with a GSXR 600 engine.

My woolich doesnt log any data right now anyway...something wrong with it. Plus AIM RS3 is much better for looking at the many data channels the ECU puts out.

Mine had a problem until I replaced the card that came with it - now it's logging data all the time, no issues. They had a bad batch of cards.

They have also much improved their data viewer too, in the meantime...
