Besides tires do you know any other changes that would need to be made to race this in the SCCA?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Jeff,
Challenge Cup is a 'segment' of SCCA racing, based in the NorthEast mostly. Being in NY, would put you right where the car belongs. Search this forum for 'Challenge Cup' and/or go to the ChallengeCupSeries.com website for more info. The cars are SCCA FV legal except for the tires/wheels as far as I know.

I've seen "project" cars that have an asking price near this.

SB body + Aim data + fire system + fuel cell is as much as the asking price alone. Everything else is free...

Unfortunately not. The car is at Bill Vallis's shop in Thorold in the St. Catherine's area. We can certainly arrange for you to see the car there.

    Hello,

I am a Newbie just now looking for a Formula Vee to take to Driving School. I was considering Vintage Formula Vee. Any thoughts on that and this car for a Newbie would be appreciated. Do you have any idea how complicated it would be to pickup this car and take to the States.

    Thanks

All I can add here is that this car was my first foray into car racing and worked out pretty well for me. Others can add their perspectives. I hope you do find your way into racing as I have loved it and have no regrets. Best of luck!

    Etiene,
What are you doing with these vees you've been buying - starting your own racing series over there ??
You must have some method of transporting them across the big pond. Do you own a shipping company ??
    Just curious,
PS.. How many have you bought now?

I can testify to this car being an extremely strong car, and would not take much to push it over the top to a competitive national car. It's a steal at this price. Bill Vallis is the Vee guru up here north of the border, and all the cars he maintains are in excellent mechanical shape.

    Buyer will not be disappointed.

    Default Lynx

Would a drive 6'3 / 6'4 " tall be able to fit, plus would there be enough room under
    the rollbar for them?

    Thanks!
