I just received a set of used Avon VFF tires from Roger Kraus Race Tires in CA, for my 1965 LeGrand Mk.2 H-Mod. They usually have some in stock, take-offs from someone who's aiming for the pointy end of the field. Mine are definitely used, but have a lot of tread left, and they cost me - ready? - $45 each! Of course, shipping from CA to MD nearly doubled the cost, but still... Plenty good enough for my initial outings with this new-to-me car.
And then there's always Berget - several threads on here about him, although I personally have not dealt with him.
