Default 1988 Swift DB2 For Sale

Just listed on eBay - text pasted from listing below. Asking $40,000.

1988 Swift DB2 for sale. Chassis 788. SVRA Logbook 12.038. The car has been maintained by Sasco Sports at Virginia International Raceway for the last five years. Raced regularly and properly serviced before, during and after events. Professional race preparation extends to transport and storage, so the car has been in the hands of experts at all times. Intense development program involving race engineer and test driver has made the car both fast and rewarding to drive. One of only two S2s to go under 1m 57s at Virginia International Raceway (YouTube link of lap available on request). Data and video available, and new owner can be introduced to engineer, engine builder, race shop and previous owners if desired. Last run at VDCA Season Finale at Roebling Road in December 2016 where it won feature race.
Car meets specifications for Sports 2000 competition and is well-known to SVRA/VRG/VDCA/HSR. The S2 class is a fast-growing group that is welcomed by most vintage racing organizations. Grids range up to forty cars and there is racing to be had up and down the grid. After the checker waves, the S2 group is one of the most sociable crowds at the track - join the club, have a beer, and explain to everyone exactly how you pulled off that amazing pass around the outside.....!
Being a spec series every S2 has the same engine, a single carb 2 liter Ford, in this case with upgraded cam (1335lbs minimum weight), last rebuilt by Quicksilver racing. Hewland Mk9 gearbox shifts easily. All safety equipment up to date including fire bottle. AIM Evo3 data system with integrated steering wheel display. AIM Smartycam. Fox shock absorbers. OMP 2018 belts.
Spares include gear ratios, a second nose, and a set of wheels. Current bodywork is fiberglass.
Car is ready to go racing today and available for inspection at VIR. Seller has multiple cars including three S2s and is looking to thin the herd. Please feel free to contact with any questions, anything I can't answer will be referred to the race shop.

More of a general question, what kind of HP are these engines reliably making? What is the longevity on them?

    Thanks
