The previous owner ran the car in that configuration and was a bit of a head scratcher for me as well. It's since been changed to all tapered.

Still have the RF92 available. I'm close to finishing up a vintage car for 2017, so I'd like to keep this car from garage queen status.

It has a Hewland Ld200 transaxle, fairly standard on most cars 89-90 and up.

I don't see 5' 11 200lb being a problem. I'm 6'0 and around 170, and have plenty of room in either direction (height and width) but I suppose it depends on how you are built..

I'll also entertained the possibly of selling the engine separately if someone is in need. This was a 6 race old Butler, that the Bottom end just got new bearings, and a timing chain. Has a 6 race old Scat crank. Head is still off, and not yet been refreshed. It's not high on my priority list, so complete carb to clutch, but as it sits, needing just final assembly $4,000

I can't think of a better car for many of the local series that are out there. This car would be tough to beat in the Arizona Toyo tire group (sorry I forgot the actual name....which makes me realize how long I've been out).

Thanks Reid. I don't think you can buy a more competitive car for the money. At this price you could do a Honda conversion and have one heck of a ride for pretty decent money.

Guys, this is not a fire sale, but honestly I'm tired of working around it in garage, and I don't want to move it to the barn(we all know race cars don't do well when they sit) Make me a reasonable offer on all or parts of it, and lets get in on track. I'll even entertain interesting trades, but racing is far down the to do list at the moment.
