Not interested in purchasing. I just wanted to comment that I may still have chassis ID plate 017 left over my my long gone Hawke which I believe to be a DL-2A.

Yes John. It was chassis 017. I found the chassis ID plate in my bedroom some time afterwards! Years later and 1200 miles to the south, it is still lurking somewhere in a drawer in my bedroom.
I ended up giving the chassis to a guy in Columbus (can't remember the name) he was going to build up an autocross car out of it......probably sitting in a garage somewhere covered in dust.

ages ago i found a rusty slider in a Triumph collectors yard near St. Louis and strapped it atop my Ford Squire wagon and hauled it home swapped a DG 300 for the tiny Hewland and pieced together a motor from stuff lying around ... nice car VERY SORRY i sold it to some Canadians for next to nothing LOL

With the recent SVRA rule changes, historic Formula Ford cars can now run aluminum body shocks, an aluminum head, and can run the spec Toyo 888 tire.
You can also run the car as is , prepped to Monoposto rules.
