    Default never saw this before.....

    my "new to me FC" has a copper line installed from the brake master cylinder to the roll hoop bulkhead where it is then connected to a braided hose running to the rear brakes......

    is this OK??

    It might be steel with copper or cad plating. Might even be cupronickel.

    all i know is that it looks like copper and that my magnets do not "like" it

    Yes...probably Cupro-Nickel.
    The line is probably serviceable ...however , you might inspect the line connectors and the flares on each end.....for a good double flare on each end and any bends /kinks/corrosion etc. on the line. A new piece of Bundy Flex might be in the works....and cheep.
