    Default 1975 Lola T324

    Wanted for '75 Lola T324.
    Looking for the following:

    1. Air duct pants - air cooling baffles under the engine cowling
    2. Speedway engine cowl - larger cowling for speedway courses of the 70's
    3. Exhaust system - looking for the familiar super vee exhaust with the distinctive S- Curve tailpipe.

You mean the "pants" that split the flow from above the roll bar into 2 streams one to each head?

Those are rare to say the least.

I had about every spare for an AC Lola when I had mine but never had one of those.

Did you try Carl Haas on the odd chance one is stuck in a corner of some attic at his place?

Thanks for the advice, I will check with Haas and the molding company.

Also, looking for the original Lola T324 exhaust, had the distinctive supervee S shaped tailpipe that can up from the 4 cylinders collector.

Lastly, looking for an original 1975 supervee motor, the car I have has been updated for hill climb , instead of the original 1600 motor it has a 235 bhp 2 liter vw motor with bigger throat ed carbs, will trade ? I am looking for a Bill Scott Racing motor or a Bertil's motor...

Check the LOLA registry. The guy who bought my car (t-328, IIRC HU-98) should be on there. A complete Bertil motor went with it as a spare. But that was in 1997, so who knows what may have happened in the last 19 years.

    Default Lola t324

Well, I checked with Haas, no luck. I think they got a chuckle out of my asking about a 40 year old car. Also, checked with TW Molding, no luck there as well. As I stated, found the air ducting, now was hoping to find the longer of the two engine covers....

    Again, thanks everyone.

IIRC the long engine cover was not a Lola part, but was made by someone who raced AS Lola's in the 70's with some success in the pro series. Same guy also made the more "wedgy" nose for use after you moved the oil coolers to hanging off the side of the gearbox on a mount that Haas sold.

I want to say it was Herm Johnson but am not sure.
