Stohr BRD nose/wing package
I have a couple of our new noses here ready for sale. Wings will be completed soon or built to order. This new nose is a bit wider at the wing mount location giving a wider, more stable mount for the main element. Wing mounts are countersunk into the sides giving a nice streamlined fit. Wing mounts are machined aluminum making crash damage much cheaper and in many cases allowing to complete a race even after contact. The mounts tend to bend rather then snap off preventing the wing from breaking in many cases. In the event that the wing is hit, the nose usually comes out fine and only brackets need be changed saving money and down time. Wing to ground proximity can be changed with different height brackets. Brackets are adjustable giving easy main element angle adjustment. Our newest main element and flaps give high downforce with relatively low drag. This package was good for a 1.23.8 at Laguna last season in a Sunday afternoon race which is only .1 sec off 2014 runoffs pole time and faster then fastest race lap. That was our first outing with this package and shifter issues prevented us from taking too many stabs at it. This was a huge boost in downforce compared to our old setup while still allowing 131mph top speed. Price for complete package including nose, brackets, main element, flaps, inner and outer end plates, uhmw skirts, and outer dive planes is $3000. Nose is full carbon prepreg oven cured. Only selling as complete package at this time.
