    Want to buy Hewland Rear Cover far an Air Cooled Formula Super Vee. Will consider buying MK8/MK9 already set up for Air Cooled Car...................

    very difficult to find. A FM rear cover might work.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the shift rods are different also.

    Default Hewland FSV upright adapter

    Hi,
    This adapter was designed to run the aircooled FSV transmission UPRIGHT[not inverted like the Mk 8/9 Hewland] to meet FSV orig. class rules. I have two assys.[ housing plus input shaft plus hockey stick shaft plus reverse shift levers]-one is stock and one that has been modified to convert back to 'upside down'. It can be reversed--$250 + SH. for both. If you are interested I'll send photos.

    Yes They are. I might have a set in my toolbox if anyone is interested. Somewhere I have a cover that was in a crash and will need welding back together and remachining (major work) if anyone is up for it.

    I would suggest borrowing one and making one out of a billet might be less costly.
