Default VIR June 6-7 with Chin Motorsports

If anyone is interested in joining me, I will be in my FE at VIR on June 6-7 (Mon/Tues) with Chin Motorsports.

This is basically an open track event, where the field is divided into three run groups (novice, intermediate and advanced). Anyone with an SCCA National license will be in the advanced group.

You'll get about ~3 hours of track time a day. I've been out with Chin once before, and it was a very well run and professional organization. The fellow drivers were also solid. We were at WGI, and I got three hours of track time two days in a row. Did more laps at WGI in those two days than I did in all my prior SCCA events at WGI combined...

    Here's the schedule: http://www.chinmotorsports.com/forms/797_pdfSch.pdf

    Best,
    Jon

I can't make June but do enjoy running with Chin. Their advanced group has better on-track awareness and manners than anyone I've ever run with. I have never felt uncomfortable running my FE or PFM with their Porsche, Vette and other drivers.

I will likely do VIR in SEP with DMTD and/or OCT with Chin.

I've never been out with Dave Murry. Are they any good?

Faster cars than Chin will show up at David Murry. He runs 2 day events and only advance can join. Open track all day no run groups. Great format I'm never rushed this way and can do more. Relatively laid back.

Is there a Web site to learn more about this group?

David Murry looks really good. Thanks for the suggestion Mike.

Chin is now also running a comparable format on selected days - advanced drivers only, and the track is simply open 100% of the time (no run groups).
