FV Wanted

Hello All,
I am new to ApexSpeed, and wanting to be new to FV driving.

I am looking for a FV car in need of a rebuild. I am a toolmaker by trade, and enjoy the rebuilding process very much, probably as much as driving the car. I would like to find a complete, or mostly complete car in need of a new life.

I live in the Kansas City metro area, and the problem I'm having, is finding any cars even remotely close to my area? Both coast seem to have plenty, any available in the midwest

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a project car that has sat in the garage for many years. The car is a Mysterian M3, which was bought from Nobel's garage and was used by one of his rental customers. I can provide more details if interested. Car located in Central Illinois.

Yes, I would like some more info on the car, maybe some pictures, price, etc.........

Not necessarily, I'm very new to the fv cars, there seems to be very little SCCA FV racing in my area, but there is quite a bit of "track day" type events. Where there is not to much restriction on the cars aside from safety. I used to drive a base model 944 Porsche at these track days, it was a blast. I have always loved the idea of an open wheel car, so wanting to get back into driving, I want to try a fv.

While not eligible for SCCA PDX events that require a instructor/co driver on board, members can take open wheel cars to club and time trial events. It's a great low cost option for seat time, testing or just practice.

Thanks for post Lawrence, once I get done remodeling the Wanderlodge, I plan to paint the Womer bright metallic blue and freshen up the engine. The price will remain at $4k w/ open trailer - I just can't stand an ugly paint job!
