Sorry, but I am not interested in renting it out. Thanks for the inquiry.

i think he was asking about operational expenses for a weekend of running it, not renting it.
Awww, come on guys, it's so simple. Maybe you need a refresher course. Hey! It's all ball bearings nowadays.

I think you could be right. That is a hard question to answer though. A lot of variables. Rough guess would be between $1000 and $5000 a weekend. Could be more if you need to hire help to run it.

The car was owned by Dick Simon and raced to 8th place in the 2000 Indy 500 with Stephan Gregoire driving.

The tub was damaged in a testing incident in late 2000. It was repaired but not used again as DSR disbanded in early 2001.

I purchased the bare tub in 2003. I was just going make a show car but I carried away buying parts and just built it up. Actually it has been updated to 2002 spec.

Car still available after a great run at Indy. (that means it ran wonderfully and I didn't crash). New poor quality video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuxlafd42JM
    Thanks for looking.

    Default Indy

    Hi
I was in group 2 at Indy and I enjoyed watching your video.
You had the speed and momentum, so I cringed every time you had to back off catching slower traffic in the corner.
I know why they have the no passing rule, but it would have been nice to contimue the speed into the corner and finish the job instead of having to slow way down.

I totally agree with you. It was fun, but incredibly frustrating. Hopefully SVRA will figure out how to make it work. After 2 years of this, I don't think I will do it again. The most frustrating part is that the car is capable of so much more.

Short oval front and rear wings come with the car. More spares are available at additional cost. I have many parts but am assembling a second car so I don't know what I will have left yet.
