You might find a car with more side protection ...... or fewer inserts in the bell housing module .... but pretty arguable that you will find a "better" car than a DB6 Honda.

I don't think you'll find any car better per dollar spent

I respectfully disagree. Best car for the dollar is a 99 and up Van Dieman Honda.

    Pipers are gorgeous.

Several different cars will run up front with enough prep and the right nut behind the wheel.

Heck, if you're talking bang for the buck, the best thing out there is a front running Club Ford, like a Crossle 40 ;-)

That DF2 is fast at Mid Ohio. Has podiumed in Nationals,I think best time of 1:32.1. Shares some of the same parts as Tim Kautz's Piper including the rear suspension. Was a better car than the new DF5.

    Default FF for sale

I have 2 Db6's one Honda and one Ford powered. I also have a DB1 roller. I have a English Swift(2000) model setting here as a roller. It is a very good car as well. For the money a Db1 is a great car. For a little more money a DB6 Honda powered car is good enough to win against any of the new cars.DB6 with Honda is worth about 35-40K A Db1 Honda is about 22-25K. I have a DB1 roller for sale now and will have a DB6 roller for sale soon.

    Mike,
Have you run the new radials yet? just asking.......the newer cars are easier to adapt to the size of the radials. Bias ply I totally agree with you.

John- Just set up the DB6 and machined the rear camber plates for the radials. I think the higher rear roll center camber plates are the ones to use with the new tires. The new cars may be easier to set up but they ultimately won't be any quicker than a DB6. My car is a piece of cake to set up. Just make the camber adjustments and go.

    Wanted To Buy Camber plates?

Would you explain the "camber plates" , where they will be used, perhaps a photo, and if they might be available for purchase for a DB1?
