Of COURSE you'd have to be about as far away as possible!

Seems that the East Coast is where all the good trailer manufacturers are, and as a result, all the good trailer DEALS.

Good luck with the sale. If you were close by, I'd take it.

While I'm here, does anyone know what HAPPENED to Haulite? I can't find any info on them online.

    Default Go for it!

Sometimes a good deal is worth driving a ways to get it.

I purchased this trailer from another apexspeed member about 1100 miles away. Had it shipped via uship.com for around 300 bucks or so.

It was the only enclosed trailer that I could find that I could tow behind a minivan with a FC inside and remain under the 3500 pound tow limit of the Odyssey.

Frank-sorry for the late reply. Just got home from work. Please see attached, but there is no overall length given. I will measure when I get home tomorrow.

    Thanks,
    Bob

    That's amazing. It has:
OVERALL HEIGHT and OVERALL WIDTH, but not OVERALL LENGTH. (shakes head).

If the illustration is to scale you could figure it out.

At quick glance it looks like the tongue adds 4'-4.5' to the length.

My guestimate is 19'6" (+/- 1") overall length? I'd have to completely close in that forward section with a hinged door for extra storage space.

    So............?

    You're selling the FC ...........nah.

    You've bought a different trailer?

    You've got a different tow vehicle..........so you're getting a different trailer soon?

You sold it to a lawn company?

    Eyerace-

Still have the Swift. Purchased a new trailer last summer. The one that I just sold went to another Apex member and heading to Indy! It was a little sad to see it being towed away.

It would have been sadder to know that grubs and grass clippings would have been the new residents.

Dan Smith for his FE, right?

Dan is a great guy even though he races Communist cars.

About 3 years ago he and his wife came to Mid Ohio to help crew for me just for the pure joy of it.

It has been great to see him in a car.

Hey Steve! Yup, my brother and I made a trip out of it. 34 hours and 2300 miles later, I just got back home. This trailer will be perfect since it is about 1000 lbs lighter than my current trailer. There was torential rain when we picked it up and got absolutely soaked. Bob was nice enough to help out and get soaked with us hooking the trailer up and going over the funky locking mechanism (which have really grown on me after using them a couple times) Thanks Bob!
