What does a typical FA car weigh without the Engine and Trans?

I would think around 750 to 800. Toyota weighs approx 230. gearbox 100 ?
God is my pilot, I'm just the loose nut behind the wheel !
Our Ralt RT-41 bare tub weighs 88 lbs and the complete car weighs 1060 ready to add driver and fuel, so using Pop's numbers that implies about 730 without engine & trans.
For reference, that 88 lbs is exactly the same as a bare Stohr WF1 chassis. FWIW, I weighed both on our electronics scales that match FedEx's within a pound or so when shipping crated engines, so those weights are about as accurate as you're likely to see in the real world.
BTW, a first gen Stohr DSR chassis weighs 3 lbs less.
Hope that helps.

Thanks gents, was just curious as to what a FA car with a MC Engine would end up weighing.... (Then with narrower wheels etc. it might come down a bit too.)
Doug
Only about 25 lbs. difference between sixes and eights and the Atlantic ten and fourteen.
Has anyone considered or gone further with attempting to convert a FA to a MC Engine driven car?
Doug
No carbon tubs in FB and I can't think of any tube frame Atlantics.
Yep, gotcha on the rule issue of no 'Tubs'.... but I'm thinking in the 'future'..
