Default chain driven open diff source

    hi all,

I'm familiar with the LSD options out there (TRE, WRD) for sealed chain driven diffs, but can someone point me towards some sources for similar open-type units? weight is king....

    thanks,
    john

Richard (ICP) makes the chain drive diff in an open version. I used an open diff in the FB car for a couple of years, and then used Richard's parts to make it a very lightly lsd.

We also have an open conversion for our diff with several people running this set up in F1000.

I have a couple of the F1000 open differentials in stock. Very light - 8.5 pounds - and can be easily converted back and forth from fully open to a very light LS.

This is the same design that Brandon used for his F1000 when he pretty much dominated the class.
