Awesome job John!!!! You have to be right up there in points now yes? Have you started to squirrel away the MO trip money yet?

I asked John(Vlasis) if winning both races was too much for him and his answer to me was...

"I am getting too old to keep that up"

Congratulations Mr. Haydon! A new track record is quite an accomplishment and a plus for Tiga owners. Unfortunately I can't blame the car anymore.

I had a great time qualifying and an eventful time racing thanks to all of the competitors. Unfortunately my worn input shaft decided to strip the clutch disc half way through both races and move me to last place on both days. Special thanks to Bill, Tom, Andy, Steve, Loren and Joe for assisting in the Quick Clutch change on Saturday night. Also Thanks to Mike for loaning me a mirror to replace the one that was removed by an errant engine cowling at the start of Saturdays race. Everyone was very lucky to make it through that incident without major damage.

I hope Curt R. is not too sore and can get the 440 back together.

Again, Thanks to Mr. Beeler for the organizing the great pit area (minus the SRF and ITS) and passing out prizes Saturday night.

I look forward to seeing everyone again at M-O for the final event.

Thanks guys, and thanks to Steve for making the event happen -- and thanks to everyone who showed up for making it such a great event! Our group was almost as large as the IT field!

Brian, we have the discs and input shafts in stock (Pegasus) if you don't already have them. Was the shaft just worn or do you think it was damaged? It's not uncommon for disc splines to strip if the clutch is not centered, or if the input shaft and crankshaft are not in line/parallel. If you're taking it that far apart anyway, you might want to at least get the clutch position checked.
