Default Trying to find my DB-6

All I am in search for my old DB-6 or any help in reaching someone who may know someone who may know someone who may know. The car was original raced by Clay Collier who's crew chief was Randy Ruyle. The car was then sold to my dad Jim Guthrie. He sold it as he progressed towards Toyota Atlantics then Indycar. When he ran Indycars Randy was then his crew chief (small world but it gets smaller). The car went through a few owners and was converted from a FC to a FF. World got smaller when my dad had the chance to buy it back for me to race as a FF. I raced it for 5 races and won three. We then sold the car and I progressed up through the ladder a bit.

We sold the car to Bill Kephart. At that time it was red, blue and yellow whenwith an AIM data package on it. The key to this car was a bent engine down tube that happened when Clay drove the car. The frame was grey and the car had undergone a frame up restoration the year before I raced it. Beautiful car and I would love to have it back. Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I thought Bill was on the SCCA board or something. I think I saw his contact info when I was looking for something else last week.

Would be interesting to see how it goes on your tires. Marshall, while 2nd place by .1 is more fun, second by 5 seconds is still 2nd

Exactly how many DB6's did Bill have???
I just bought a a DB6 from Michael Hausknecht that is a former Mike Agnifilo /Bill kephart car. And I think Tim Webbs car is a Kephart car as well.
    Thanks Wes

Thank you all for your help. Hopefully I can track it down. And Marshall I am not sold that on tight bumpy tracks a modern car is better than a vintage car. My VD is pretty darn good I must say.

My car was his first and then I believe he had two others. I know he had a VD before he got the DB6 from us. He went on a DB-6 kick and then started building his own cars is my understanding.

Bill just informed me he had four. Tims car is a former Bill car but isn't mine. Wes does your car have any indication it may be my old car? I've also emailed Kris. That accounts for 3/4 my luck will be my car is the missing 4. Lol. Hopefully it didn't get waded up.

The DB6 that I got from Bill and is now Wes Allen's was a multi color (red/yellow/green/etc) F2000 car if that helps any.

All DB6s were F2000 originally or do you mean that when it was purchased from Bill it was still an F2000.

I am fairly sure my car will either be the missing number 4 or Kris's car. Time will tell. Having fun trying to track it down and enjoying the idea of a new car
