    Default NEW SFI?

    So are these belts expired now or can I use them, since the expiration dates changed?

    Thanks in advance?

    BTW has anybody noticed the "8" point Sparco belts and if so had anyone used them? They look quite nice.

    An SFI tag only specifies manufacture date. The new 5-year expiration spec wasn't from any change in manufacturing but merely a recognition that belts rarely spend every day exposed to sunlight. You're good until 2017.

    Sweet that's what I thought! So I just saved a couple hundred bucks now that I can burn up on tires!
