I didn't stay in Holiday inn last night, but it sure looks a lot like Fergusan's very competitive west coast car in last years P2 class.

    Default UK S200?

Given the engine/wing, is this a UK spec S2000?

Could be, but certainly not a RSF-03 like Ferguson drives. Here's Dave's before the P2 conversion:

The ad reads that it is built from a FF1600 originally. I don't believe it is a tub car, but a tube frame car widened to fit a passenger. I also believe it is an older VD FF chassis, not a 2005 chassis.

It would still be a giggle for the money, though.

Hi everyone. It is NOT going to be as quick as Ferguson's car from what I have read about his, UNLESS some work is done on it: lighten up the chop gun body work with CF or a few layers of hand layed FG; put a Duratec in it (with another set of gears in the LD200), run slicks (no, I did not bother to put slicks on, because the car came with a garage full of Hankook tires that I have not run through yet!)

I recently had the starter replaced, the exhaust wrapped, battery replaced, and the wiring redone.

The running gear is RF89, but the car was finished in 2005. I am the third owner. The suspension is set up for a passenger, so not ideal for a solo driver at the moment. But I did not care.

It has been a great experience in it, but now of course, wait for it....

I want to go faster, without doing all that work. I am extremely busy running my hearing clinic, as I have for the past 16 years, and just do not have the time or energy.

I will try to respond to the emails as soon as I can. It would be best to come and pick it up and drive away with it in the trailer.

Has CASC-OR logbook with recent inspection (end 2014 season).

It has come to my attention that I am asking too little for my sports racer.

    New price:

    $9500

    Hi
Yes I do. I can email them to you; they are on my phone. I forgot to take some more today when I was out digging the trailer out today, so they are not terribly good ones, but it gives you an idea.

I am flexible on the price. I really want a different car, just for a change. I have never driven a pure formula car, and want to! I did not pay a lot for the car, and am passing that on to anyone new.

The work to make it really go, is probably not that hard for anybody with a proper race team, or enthusiasm. It does not need any structural change to go racing and have a blast. Body lightening, proper suspension set up, slicks would be in order if you really want to turn it into a serious race car. Duratec engine, with matching gearbox would get you quick in a hurry. You would still come out ahead financially over an older Sports Racer with a Pinto, and be faster.

I say this because I have been told I am not positive enough about it when people have called. Well, I am just trying to be perfectly honest about it: it is what it is, and i have had so much fun in it, but now I would like to try other cars, while my health is still good.
