Default Palm Beach Winter Weekend Topic

Who’s coming down to Florida for PBIR? Lots of single-class track time, and one race on Saturday afternoon.

Going to be lots of new talent on display for the yellow and blue cars, I hear.

New 2015 tires will also be available, and Hoosier will have 2014-spec tires there at 50 percent off, FYI.

Travel tips: Rental car prices are adjusted for the President's day weekend, I got a better deal using an airline discount code for Hertz.

On the ticket, which is being heavily promoted by the track for Saturday spectators, will be Atlantics, F2000, F1600 and some sort of Porsche Cup.

Tonis setting the pace during practice - not sure if he will run the races though. New crop of FF rookies are quick.

Kasemets wins at Palm Beach. After starting from pole Tonis showed some patience as first and second ran into each other while racing for the lead. 90 minutes later he led every lap of a long Atlantic car too, not bad.

The Spectrum/Honda from Polestar looks very cool in the black color scheme.
