Great news! FYI I added a section of bead seat under my butt due to your accident.

    Default Thank you Mick Robinson

The next duck for the row was the main hoop needed to be raised about 3 1/2 inches because I'd be sitting on about three inches of EPP. It was great to hear a few minutes ago the bar's done!!!

Let's see..........the Farley engine's done, the Stimola rebuilt shocks are done, the new fuel cell's sitting there, the new tires are sitting there.

....and still more ducks to line up

The FC - with the taller main roll bar - due to the EPP seat - due to the surgery - due to the carnage at Sebring years ago - came off the set-up pad today..............soon, soon.

Thank you Dr. Terry Trammel and Dr. Glen Manzano............and Mick Robinson and Don Boughan

Shooting for Sebring first weekend in Feb..................................

I'm betting it will feel incredible to take a green flag again

Default Pray for those who never came back from a bad injury

Yes sir! Now registered for Feb. Sebring event. I think the test day will be more about testing me than the car.

I just saw and read this thread.
First off, congratulations on your recovery.

While reading the thread, it was a somber reminder of the risks that we take pursuing our hobby. At one point while reading this thread, I felt a little selfish that we expose ourselves and our families to the type of trauma that you experienced. But I quickly reminded myself of 2 less fortunate people that I know that had much more horrific accidents driving to work. One, a 22 year old who is now paralyzed from the waist down, and the other a 30 year old mother of 3 who is paralyzed from the neck down. Both of those accidents occured in the past 2 years. Driving to work wearing only a seat belt can be just as, if not more, traumatic when bad things start to happen.

Again, congratulations on your hard work and recovery. I wish you well at the race in February.

Welcome back Stan! Hope to bump into you this year. I may only be out 1 or 2 times (oldest starting college in the fall-time & $ tight).

I know that you will have a blast this weekend.

Thank you Mike. You honor me with your help this weekend and your pics. Today has been one of those times where rather than feeling the bit between your teeth, you feel the emotions after 4 1/2 years come up inside one's self when you see the green and everyone hits it at the same time ....and especially when you next see a true checker ending a race rather than a session. Thanks workers!

    Stan,

It was my pleasure helping you this weekend. I'm glad you had a successful return with no major issues. BTW the car looks beautiful after the rebuild.
