Dynamic FST Shocks

Need cash ... cleaning out some special parts I kept when selling off my FST parts.

Specially tuned Dynamic shocks with piggyback cannisters. Double-adjustable. 11 1/4" extended length with 3" travel.





These were worth 2 secs per lap at Nelson Ledges compared to the double-adjustable Konis I had used to win the 3 previous FST championships or some 4-way Dynamics I tried on the same day. I eventually did 11s with these shocks at Nelson, then used them for back-to-back wins at Mid-Ohio in 2009. Been sitting on a shelf since used for those 5 days. Checked the pressure .... ready to go.

I figured they would be awesome on a FV too. They just won't work in a coil-over application.

Also have electric Honda fuel pump with output 4-6 psi. Selected so I could get rid of the cheapo "square" pump everyone else uses. Does not need regulator. $75.

The bearing ends are 1/2".

After several inquiries asking about shock mounting, I went to the obsolete parts shelf and gathered some parts I had used with the shocks. Perhaps someone can use some or all. $25O for parts in the following pic or included with above shocks for $900 total. That includes a 3rd (spare) rocker and bushings. Poorly shown, there are pivet bobbins and hardware for the two rockers.


Here are some pics showing the application and packaging I used. The 4-way Dynamics are shown in these pics but I preferred the 2 ways that are for sale. There were jacking screw droop limiters that could be accessed through holes in the body. The ARB was cockpit adjustable for testing then locked in place for official events. Pushrods connected outboard to the rockers.

Are you ready for the bumps of Nelson. When I bolted these shocks on, my times lowered 2 secs at Nelson. Obviously, what I had been using sucked but maybe what you are using now sucks too! Eventually did 1.11 at Nelson. Still available.

I still have these shocks. They work really well. Check out how that 1.11 time compares to anybody else at any time. The Nelson Ledges carousel was very close to flat.

Priced to sell at $400. I can only go so far. At some point I will have to scrap them and take the parts for other applications. greg13rice-at-hotmail.com
