Ideal situation would be someone wanting to trade a full Momo Steering wheel for one without the top part. I have a 96 and the guages are not visable behind the wheel. I would also be interested in buying this type of wheel.

Take your existing wheel over to the saw and cut appropriately. Use good tape to cover the ends, or you can even get appropriately sized rubber or plastic end caps at Lowes to cover the ends.

'Cause there's bugger-all down here on earth!
I have Momo wheel like you described and will trade you.

I second the saw method. But I used a different method to cover the cut ends. There is a product that I think is called "DIP-IT" or "COAT_IT", something like that. It's like a rubberized coating. Dip the cut-off ends of the wheel about 3/4" and let dry. Ours lasted a couple of years and looked like it came from the factory that way.
Just did this 2 weeks ago. A hacksaw went through the wheel in about 10 seconds and then used "Plasti-Coat" from Home Depot to coat the ends. Looks good and I can see all the gauges.

Ya, That's the stuff, "Plastic coat". Thanks for the memory jog.
Is there a structural difference between the cut wheel and the one that Momo makes? I'll be happy to trade with you Bill... give me a buzz at 404-456-3707 (cel phone) or 404-209-5709 (work) and we can swap addresses. I guess it would be better for you as you cannot add the top part, and better for me as I don't have to hack up a wheel. Any comments?
Oh- also Bill Has your been cut or is it a factory job?

Sean before you make a deal to trade wheels make sure you are getting (and want) the ergonomic wheel (the type that fits the shape of your hand) or the standard round wheel. Momo make several styles some have the thicker egro rim and some don't. Go to a website that has momo wheels and get the model number. I believe the wheel you are looking for is call a Momo Cut12. This model has the open top with the flat bottom.

Sean,
I've been out of pocket (went racing at the TWS double nat.). The wheel I have is the one that is pictured above. It has some holes in it from Pi buttons and radio button. If you are interested call me or email me.

Ug. Bill, I purchased a new wheel when I did not hear from you. I really need to work on my patience, but would be happy to sell you my full wheel if you want- just make me an offer. It has 1 hole from a radio button and is like new.
I paid $150 for the new wheel.
