    Default Book Review?

    Anybody read these books?
Making Sense of Squiggly Lines (https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...sp?RecID=10338)
Competition Car Data Logging Manual (https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...asp?RecID=6399)

I'm looking for a basic "I got the data, now what do I do with it?" kind of book. Looks to me like something titled "Making Sense of Squiggly Lines" would be a good start.

    Opinions?
    Thanks.

Squiggly Lines will be your best choice. But I recommend reading any data analysis book you can find. I also recommend very highly A Practical Guide to Race Car Data Analysis.

One book that I plan to order is: Steering Analysis of a Formula Renault Car Using Data Acquisition.

Data Logging Manual covers everything from the hardware to the software. It's very helpful if you're setting up a system (or even if you're maintaining an existing system). Good info on sensors and mounting -- including how not to.

Squiggly Lines and Practical Guide both more or less skip the hardware to go more in-depth into using the software and interpreting data. Both are excellent. I got more info about interpreting the graphs (translating it into driver and car behavior) from Squiggly Lines. Practical Guide is my go-to for "how do I make the software show me... ?"

None of the three endorse or condemn any particular brand, which I appreciate. Practical Guide actually has an index showing how to set up specific math channels for the different major brands' programs (AiM, Stack, Pi, Motec).

Squiggly Lines is the way to go if you want to be able to quickly read the book and apply the info at a beginner level.
