    Default 2005 Helmet

    We have a 2005' helmet and I wondered how much longer it's eligible for SCCA racing? I checked my most recent GCR (2012) and it's okay'd there, but how about
    the 2014 GCR?

    A SA2005 Helmet is good for 10 years of competition in the SCCA I think I remember reading

    Default 2005 Helmet

    SCCA normally requires helmet updates, the year after the new spec. helmets become available. So I would think that your 2005 helmet should be good through 2016.
